JOHN Q. ADAMS

ADAMS, JOHN Q., 72, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Cheryl S. (Lowell) Adams.

Born in Warwick, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Mary (Doherty) Adams. 

John was raised in Scituate, Rhode Island and was a graduate of Scituate High School. He then went on to work for many years at Victor Electric, West Warwick and also at the former Stanley-Bostitch in North Kingstown.  A natural born ‘people person’, John loved sharing in conversation and laughter with anyone, no matter where he may have been. He enjoyed sports, playing bingo, perusing local yard sales, and shopping. Above all, John will be remembered for his love of family, his fellow man, and his undying love for his late wife, Cheryl. 

John was the loving father of John Adams, Rebecca Adams-Gravier, Jason Adams (Gayle Roberge), and the late Baby Wayne Adams. Grandfather of Liam-Jacob Gravier. Brother of Christopher Adams, Kathleen Zampa, Judith Cornell, Eileen Peterson, Colum Doherty, and the late Ernest Adams, Maureen Adams, Lloyd Adams, and Michael Adams.

Funeral Services are respectfully private.
