Obituary
John A. Badessa, 72, of Coventry passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He is survived by his beloved wife Louise T. (Gravel) Badessa who he met in 1986 and married in 1991.
Born in Providence on October 4, 1950, he was the loving son of the late John and Jennie (Matarese) Badessa.
John was employed as a Warehouse Worker for Hasbro, Inc. in Pawtucket, RI for over twenty-three years. He enjoyed reading books and listening to music. John also worked as a professional musician, performing at countless venues throughout the region. Above all, John enjoyed quality time with his family and friends.
In addition to his beloved wife, John is survived by a step-son: Michael Magrey and his wife, Susan of Coventry, Connecticut; a brother: Ronald Badessa of Coventry, Rhode Island; and two loving grandchildren: Lexi and Ben.
