JOHN R. LABOSSIERE

LABOSSIERE, JOHN R., 68, of West Greenwich, passed away at the home with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Lori (DeRiso) LaBossiere for 46 years.  Born in Central Falls, RI, John was a son of the late T. Leo and Alexandra (Benoit) LaBossiere.

John graduated from St. Raphael Academy in 1976. John went on to a dedicated 24 year career as an independent snack food distributor before retiring in 2017. He was previously employed at the former Almacs supermarkets for many years. 
John enjoyed golf and the experience of playing many different golf courses throughout the region with his friends. He belonged to the local Cribbage league. Most of all, John loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson.

John was the caring father of Sara R. Stravato and her husband Louis and the adoring grandfather of Cameron S. Bloodworth. He was the brother of Roxanne Dery (late husband Joseph), Claude LaBossiere (Illona) of Exeter, and Renee Leclerc (Yves). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry.
