JOHN T. LIMA

JOHN T. LIMA, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island, Coventry. 

Born in Warwick, John was a son of the late Gervais and Esther (Colvin) Lima. 

Having grown up in Coventry, John was a graduate of Coventry High School. Always friendly and social, John was the beloved Custodian at Voluntown Elementary School in Connecticut for many years. He loved spending his summer break on area beaches, time spent chatting in local coffee shops, and was an automobile enthusiast. John enjoyed staying active and found peace walking outside, usually 3 miles a day, and had a fondness for animals, especially cats. 

John was the brother of Gervais Lima Jr. (Dawn), George Lima, and Daniel Lima (Janis); beloved uncle to many dear nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services are respectfully private. Arrangements are by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
