JOHN C. PHILLIPS

PHILLIPS, JOHN C., 70, passed away at Kent Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2024. 

Born in Burlington, Vermont, John was a son of the late Linden and Elnora M. (Lapan) Phillips. 

John worked for many years at Cox Communications and was also a self employed carpenter. He was a lifelong fan of all sports, but he especially enjoyed rooting for the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox. Always an outdoorsman, John loved traveling back to his home state of Vermont, where he found solace in all of the state’s natural beauty. 

He was the father of Matthew Phillips, his wife Stacy, Eric Phillips, Heidi Phillips, Ryan Phillips, Graham Phillips and Chelsey Phillips. Grandfather of Emily Phillips and Dominick Garabino. Brother of Mary Elfer, Lora Phillips, JoAnne Lemnah, and the late Paul Phillips and Earl Phillips.
