His biggest thrill came in 2013 when he attended his first World Series game rooting his Red Sox on to victory. Never was there a kinder man than John. He loved his family immensely and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The smile on his face when they were in his presence was wide and bright. He enjoyed spending time at the health club socializing with his many friends, often having passionate discussions about the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry.
