JOSEPH A. "JOE" PETRUCCI

PETRUCCI, JOSEPH A. “JOE”, 85, of Charlestown, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Catherine T. (McGann) Petrucci, recently celebrating their 59th anniversary. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Annunziata (Vesperoni) Petrucci.

Joseph was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, CCRI and attended the Rhode Island School of Design. He served in the US Army under the First Logistical Command during Vietnam. For most of his life, he was involved in the home design, building and renovations business in Warwick and Charlestown. Joseph enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Anna Sionne and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his brother Raymond and sisters Gilda Spina and Elda Azzarone.

Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10 am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd., Charlestown. Interment with military honors at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
