RAMBONE, JOSEPH L., "JOE" 78, of Henniker, New Hampshire, passed away with his loving family by his side at the Hope Hospice in Providence, on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Andrew and Loretta (Grover) Rambone.
Joseph was employed as a truck driver for HHP Inc. in Henniker, NH for over 26 years. He previously owned and operated the Bradford Road Greenhouses in Henniker, NH for 20 years. Joseph was active in his Community; as a volunteer firefighter with the Henniker Fire Department from 1978 to 1992; and for the last several years, he offered many hayrides to the residents of Henniker at certain seasonal and holiday events. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. He also liked to ride his ATV and snowmobiles.
He was the father of Joseph A. Rambone of Hillsboro, NH and Angela M. Egan and her husband Edmund of Coventry, RI. Joseph was the proud grandfather of Amanda M. Egan, Patrick J. Egan, and Sarah E. Egan. He was the brother of Richard Rambone of Stetson, ME, Edward Rambone of Scituate, RI, and the late William Rambone and Robert Rambone. He also leaves his beloved black labrador “Bella Marie”.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm with a Service at 1:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (95/exit 6/Rte.3) in Coventry. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Henniker Firefighters Association, 216 Maple St., Henniker, NH 03242 or Hope Health Hospice 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated. iannottifh.com
