JUDITH A. (O'BRIEN) MITCHELL

MITCHELL, JUDITH A. (O’BRIEN), 73, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital on Thursday, September 17, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Marvin R. Mitchell, the couple having celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 5, 2020. Born in Fall River, MA, Judith was a daughter of the late Norman and Ruth (Powers) O’Brien. 

Judith was the loving mother of Brian Mitchell, and his wife Kelli, of Coventry; adoring grandmother of Emma and Noah Mitchell. Judy is also survived by her siblings Richard O’Brien, and his wife Lilly, of Ontario, and Mary Jane Blanchette, and her husband David, of Fall River, MA. 

While observing Social Distance Guidelines, family and friends are invited to attend visitation hours on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (RTE 3), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in SS John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry.  Inurnment at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Judy’s memory to RISPCA (RISPCA.org), would be appreciated.
