JULIA TERILLI

TERILLI, JULIA, 100, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 27, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Francisco A. “Tony” Terilli, who predeceased Julia in 2005. 

Born in San Martino, Italy she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Giovanni (DelGiacco) Petecca.

As a young girl, Julia immigrated from Italy to the Bronx, New York. Always a hard worker, she first worked as an Usher in the Criterion Theater on New York City’s Broadway. She then worked as a Switchboard Operator for AT&T, before she met her husband, Francisco. They then moved to West Warwick, Rhode Island where they began raising their family. Julia also worked various other jobs throughout her career, but being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother was her true calling.  

She was the loving mother of Frances Teoli, her husband Doug, Joseph Terilli, and Mark Terilli, and his wife Eleanor O’Donnell. Loving grandmother of 17; Great grandmother of 17. Dear sister of the late Jerry Petecca, Esther Eiler, and Louise Joubert. Julia is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and extended family members. 

Visiting Hours will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry. Burial with Committal Prayers to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.
