JULIETTE GLORIA MAY CARDOGNO

CARDOGNO, JULIETTE “Julie”, 95, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was the loving wife of 43 years to Salvatore “Sal” Cardogno.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Rustituda Santagata.

Always a social person, Julie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Whether celebrating birthdays or holidays, Julie loved sharing and making memories with those she cared most about. Her warm and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew her. 

Julie was the mother of Donna (DiOrio) Saieta of Warwick and Valerie (DiOrio) Cacchiotti, her husband Jack, of North Kingstown, and the late Frank “Frankie” DiOrio Jr. Julie is also survived by her step daughters, Linda McColgan, her husband John, of Los Angeles, CA, and Florence Voccola of Warwick. Grandmother of five; great grandmother ten. Julie is also survived by her sister, Jo Ann DeSimone. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Committal Prayers on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. A Funeral Procession will be formed at the Cemetery's Main Entrance at 9:45 AM. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
