KAREN E. BAKER

Karen E. Baker, 70, of Coventry passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island.  She was the longtime companion of Lance Giles.

Born in Hartford, CT on August 25, 1953, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lloyd D. Baker, Sr. and Glenna (McLaughlin) Baker.

At a very young age, Karen lived in Hartford, CT and later moved to North Kingstown, RI and she graduated from North Kingstown High School where she excelled in the Women’s Swimming Team.  

Karen was known for being a hard worker, holding many jobs to support herself and her beloved son, Chad.  

Karen is survived by her beloved son:  Chad Baker of Coventry; three siblings:  Cynthia Tully, Elizabeth Baker and Lloyd Baker, Jr.; and a grandson:  Austin Baker.

She was the loving sister of the late Douglas Baker and Gregory Baker.
