Karen A. Bennett, of Coventry, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025. Born on August 13, 1953, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Wentland) Humphrey and the cherished sister of the late Glenn and David Humphrey.
Karen was always ready to lend a hand or offer her time to anyone in need. Her unwavering kindness and strength left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving sons, Patrick Berrigan and his wife Nicole, and John Gregory. She was the proud grandmother to Jack and Nora, who brought her endless joy. Karen also leaves behind her sister Tracey Berchem and her husband John; her nephew Trevor Humphrey; and nieces Meredith and Michaela.
Karens legacy of compassion, generosity, and quiet strength will live on through the lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished always.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to BROWN UNIVERSITY CANCER RESEARCH.
