KAREN D. TOUGAS

TOUGAS, KAREN D., of Coventry, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Riverview Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Coventry. 

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late Mervin and Barbara (Angell) Fenner. 

Karen grew up in West Warwick, and was a graduate of West Warwick High School. A natural born caregiver, Karen worked for many years at the Riverview Healthcare Center in Coventry. In her spare time she enjoyed playing computer games and loved singing Karaoke when she was younger. Above all, any time that she was spending with her family, especially her grandchildren, is what she cherished most.  

Karen was the loving mother of Sheila Larney, her husband Ken, of Coventry, and the late James Bowen. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Laura Moreau and Angel Moreau; great grandmother of Benjamin Danielson and Sage Luiz. Karen was also the sister of Judith Cote and the late Leon Fenner Sr.  

Family and friends are invited to Visiting Hours from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry, Rhode Island. A Funeral Service will commence at 1:00 PM. Burial is respectfully private.
