KEVIN JAMES CONNELLY

CONNELLY, KEVIN JAMES, 57, of Cranston and formerly of Coventry, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Born in New Castle, PA, he was a son of the late John V. and Lorraine A. (Michaud) Connelly.

Kevin graduated from Coventry High School in 1981 where he excelled in academics and sports. Kevin went on to earn a Degree in Business from Mitchell College. Kevin had an extensive career in the restaurant business. He managed several area franchise Burger King, Wendy’s, Walt’s Roast Beef establishments to name a few.  He also had managed the dining venue at the Quidnessett Country Club for a time. Most recently, he was a manager for his friend William De Angelus Jr. at the Twin Oaks.

He was the brother of John T. Connelly of Coventry, Lynne M. Connelly and her beloved companion John F. Scallon of Warwick, and Janet S. Dawson of Vermont. He also is survived by two daughters.

His Services will be private. A Memorial reception will be on a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. Please omit flowers. iannottifh.com
