VENTURA, KEVIN A., 66, Long time resident of Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025 in Fort Myers, Florida.
Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Chief Anthony J. Ventura and Pauline (Auger) McKanna.
Always hardworking and dedicated, Kevin was employed by the Town of West Warwick for nearly 30 years. Kevin was a longtime fan of all sports, loved playing golf and watching baseball and football games. He especially enjoyed rooting for his grandchildren’s teams whenever they were on the field. He loved Harley’s, going out to eat, spending days at the beach and socializing with his many lifelong friends. Kevin truly had a “heart of gold” and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was the father of Ashley (Ventura) Lundh, her husband Eric Lundh, and Kevin A. Ventura Jr. Loving grandfather to Anthony Lundh, Aiden Lundh and Kevin A. Ventura III. Kevin was predeceased by his younger brother, the late Gary A. Ventura. Kevin is survived by his partner of 20 years, Anne Marie Joly, and her son, Nicholas Joly.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry, Rhode Island, 02816. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 PM. Inurnment at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick is respectfully private.
