KEVIN T. VUONO

VUONO, Kevin T., 62, of Coventry, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of 28 years to Colleen A. (Marran) Vuono.

Born in Westerly, Kevin was the son of Thomas and Stella (Trombino) Vuono of Westerly and son-in-law of the late Joseph E. and Angelina Marran.

Kevin graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1979 and earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant College in 1983.  Kevin was a partner in the Accounting firm of Volpe, Vuono, and Bertherman, with offices in Westerly and Warwick.

Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his loving children, Mark J. Vuono and Andrea R. Vuono, both of Coventry, and his three siblings, D’Ann May (husband David) of Bel Air, MD, Jeryl Menard (husband Roland) and Jeffrey Vuono (wife April), all of Westerly.  Kevin was loved by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends. 

His Funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery in Westerly.  Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Butler Hospital Memory and Aging Program, 345 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI 02906 (for Alzheimer’s Research) or to the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
