KIMBERLY ANN MATARESE

MATARESE, KIMBERLY ANN,  54, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 14, 2023.  Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of Mary-Joan (Minnis) Matarese of Cranston and the late Earl S. Matarese.

Kim was a 1986 graduate of Cranston High School East where she belonged to the RI Honor Society and was a member of the school color guard, and Tennis team.  She also volunteered in an enrichment program to help special needs children.  She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College in 1990. Kim was employed as a human resources manager working in diverse industries ranging from telecommunications to healthcare to social services.

Kim enjoyed cooking, traveling and skiing.  She cherished hosting dinners and celebrations at her home for her family and friends.  She also enjoyed family vacations to Europe and destinations across the USA.

Kim was the sister of Scott E. Matarese and his wife Heather of Cranston and the aunt of Scott E. Matarese. Jr. and Steven D. Matarese.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday May 9th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (Route 3) Coventry, RI.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed., May 10th at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Interment at St. Ann Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please enjoy a wonderful dinner at home or at one of our many fantastic, local restaurants to be with your beloved family and friends. iannottifh.com
