LARRY MARSHALL Obituary

MARSHALL, LARRY L., 87, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at the Hope Health Hospice in Providence, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He was predeceased by his wife Rosaline Mary (Rapoza) Marshall in February 2022. Born in Canton, Illinois, he was a son of the late Austin C. and Dorothy (Bath) Marshall.

After attending high school, Larry enlisted in the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge, he went on to establish a reputable home improvement business specializing in roofing and siding. Larry found solace in nature. He enjoyed bird watching, walking and swimming. He also loved spending time with his family, and he was always willing to help with carpentry projects.

Larry was the father of Lawrence Marshall and his wife Ann Marie, Kathleen L. Deighan, Elizabeth Zabbo, and Philip Marshall. He was the grandfather of Elizabeth, Shaelyn, Gregory, Lauren, Ryan, Matthew, Sevan, Keryn, and Jordan; and the great-grandfather of Lyla, Isabella, Julian and Adeline. Larry also leaves a sister Linda of Oklahoma. He was the brother of the late Richard, Dwayne, Marlene, Debbie and Donna. Larry was the father-in-law of the late Brian Deighan.

Relatives and friends are invited to a military honors ceremony at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:30 am. Attendees may assemble by the main entrance administration buildings at 10:00 am.  Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, memorial donations to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
