LAURA K. BAILEY

BAILEY, LAURA K. (WILHELM), 96, passed away at the Brookdale Smithfield Nursing Facility, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 22, 2018.  Born in Bloomfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Leda Wilhelm. Laura was the mother of Bonnie L. Singleton and her husband Robert of Coventry and Lori K. Bailey of CT. She was the grandmother of Alecia and Joseph Singleton and the great-grandmother of four.

Laura had been a resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea in Massachusetts from 1945 to 2000, before moving to Rhode Island. She was a bookkeeper, and along with her husband, owned and operated the former Bailey’s Service Station, in Manchester-by-the-Sea. 

Visiting hours are Friday evening, October 26, 2018 from 4 - 6 pm at the Church of the Apostles, 170 Fairview Ave., Coventry, RI.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Federated Church of Christ, P.O. Box 204, Brooklyn, CT 06234 would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home, Coventry.
