WARWICK- Lauren M. Porter, 71, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the longtime devoted companion to Joseph Deus and former wife to Edward C. Porter Jr.
Born on July 17, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, she was one of seven children born to the late Louis P. and Leonie (Hagerty) Bell.
Possessing the ability to work with numbers and finances, for many years, Lauren was employed as a Bookkeeper with K & M Associates in Providence.
Having a knack for creativity, Lauren enjoyed oil painting and quilting beautiful pieces of fabric. She was an avid reader and liked tending to her garden. Lauren treasured all the time spent and memories made with her children and grandchildren. Her family was the focal point of her life, especially her grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.
Lauren is survived by her two proud and cherished daughters: Nicole Porter and Danielle Cunningham and her husband Paul. She was the grandmother to her grandchildren: Erin Cunningham; Mary Cunningham; and Laura Cunningham. She will be dearly missed by her siblings: Miriam Hedwith; Regina Bell; Elaine Susko; George Bell; David Bell, and Nicholas Bell; and also countless, nieces nephews, and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a attend memorial visitation on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:30-11:30 AM at IANNOTTI FUNERAL HOME, 415 Washington St., (Rt.117), Coventry, RI. Lauren will be memorialized with a eulogy taking place at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
