LAWRENCE “LARRY” SILVA JR., 60, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Lawrence Silva Sr. and Gwendolyn P. Miller.
Always with a tenacious work ethic, Larry spent over thirty years in the field of construction and demolition, working with Ocean State Building & Wrecking for over a decade. Born with an engineering mind, Larry loved working on engines, and was especially fond of Ford Rangers. Whenever he wasn’t working, Larry found solace fishing, but above all, spending quality time with his beloved grandchildren is what he cherished most.
He is survived by his loving children, Ashley M. McKay, her fiance Armond, Laraina Silva McKay, and Travis Silva. Loving Pop-Pop of Joshua, Jordan, Julieanna, Joseph, Linda, Bethany, Jeremy Jr. Loving brother of Patricia Williams (David), Cathy Dutra (Ron), and Dee Jay Silva. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 6:30 PM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry, RI. Burial is respectfully private.
