LEITA I. (WHITE) PASSARELLI

PASSARELLI, LEITA I. (WHITE), 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee and formerly of West Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away at Kent Hospital on Friday, August 9, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Passarelli in 2004. Born and raised in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Hollis F. and Sophia I. (Miller) White.

After graduating from West Warwick High School, Leita went on to employment at the former Star City Glass in Coventry and then on to Electric Boat before retiring and relocating to Knoxville, TN in 1989. 

Lieta enjoyed taking rides, knitting, gardening and reading passages in her well worn Bible.
She loved the companionship of her chihuahua “Lucky”.

Leita was the mother of Lea Lynn Menzies, Hollis Leslie Thornber, Robin Gardner, Duane Patnode, Wesley Patnode, Todd Patnode, and the late Cindy Leveillee. Leita was the sister of
Janice Moretto, and the late Rowena Degraide and Hollis White. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At the family’s request, Funeral Services and interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Coventry are to be private. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home in Coventry. iannottifh.com
