LEONAS "LEON" J. LEONAVICIUS

LEONAVICIUS, LEONAS J. “Leon” , 85, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 23, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Marion M. Leonavicius. 

Born in Lithuania, he was a son of the late Kazimieras and Stanislava (Buivydaite) Leonavicius.

Leon worked as an Aeronautical Technician and Mechanic for Delta Airlines for many years. After his retirement, he and his wife Marion, enjoyed traveling the country and meeting with friends along the way. One of his greatest joys was spending time on Johnson’s Pond in Coventry, whether fishing, boating, or admiring the wildlife. 

Brother of Zeon Leonard and the late Joseph Leonavicius, Jade Kokel, Sophia Leonavicius, and Al Leonavicius. 

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Leon’s Memory to one’s favorite charity, would be appreciated. 

Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton, MA is respectfully private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
