LILLIAN C. (CALCI) ADESSO, 85, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, May 9, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of nearly 65 years to the late Franklin L. Adesso.
Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Simione and Lillian (Ducharme) Calci.
Throughout her life, Lillian was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed travelling with her husband Franklin, especially taking camping trips all throughout New England. Above all, Lillian was a loving mother and adoring grandmother. She enjoyed painting ceramics, playing cards, babysitting for family and friends, and having a nice glass of Fortissimo wine. She also loved taking shopping trips with her girls and trying her luck with red white and blue slot machines at the casino. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Loving mother of Franklin Adesso Jr., his partner Pamela Lavoie, of Coventry, RI and Dawn M. O’Connor, her partner Stephen McNally, of Narragansett, RI. Grandmother of Michael O’Connor, his wife Jessica O'Connor and Allison O’Connor, her partner Adam Comire ; great grandmother of Hunter, Blake, and Ashlyn. She was the sister of Dorothy Senerchia, Diane Terilli, Carol Brodeur, Delores Silva, Leona Calci, Albert Calci, Alfred Calci, Charles Calci, and the late Yvonne Tourgee, Blanche Patalano, Jennie Plouffe, Florence LaRoche, Simione “Sam” Calci Jr., Edward Calci, Joseph Calci, William Calci, and Cecile Nobre. Lillian was the loving aunt of many dear nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Visiting Hours on the morning of Friday, May 15, 2026 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence St., West Warwick. Burial and Committal Prayers to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich.
