LINDA C. (GREENE) VANAMERSFOORT

VANAMERSFOORT, LINDA C. (GREENE) 78, of Main Street, Coventry, passed away at the Kent Regency Center in Warwick on Saturday, October 5, 2024. 

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Mildred H. (Curtis) Greene.

Linda was raised in Coventry and graduated from Coventry High School, class of 1963. She went on to employment in the payroll department for the former George W. Phillips Synthetic Fibers textile mill for many years. Linda later worked in customer service for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company before retiring from Hasbro as a customer service representative. 

Linda loved spending time outdoors, caring for her pet dogs, cats, and ducks. She enjoyed bowling, playing at the nearby casinos, dancing, and many other social activities. Linda cherished time spent with her four grandchildren.

Linda was the mother of Kelly L. Carlini and her husband Michael, Kyle W. Phillips and his companion Karen L. Potter, and Kaylen Joy Phillips, all of Coventry. She was the grandmother of Christopher Brodeur, Kurtis Quinn, Nicholas Brodeur and Collin Quinn. Linda is also survived by two great-grandchildren Karson and Kaiya Quinn.

To honor Linda’s wishes, Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT in Coventry.
