LOIS A. (Fallon) BUNKER

BUNKER, Lois A. (Fallon), 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Warwick.  She was the wife of the late Donald J. Bunker.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Anastasia M. (McLaughlin) Fallon.

Lois was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Rhode Island Hospital for over 25 years.  She was an avid reader and loved all things Irish.  She took delight in decorating for holidays, especially Christmas and the Fourth of July.  Lois enjoyed travelling both in the United States and abroad.  Of all of the things she loved, she was happiest surrounded by family, especially at family reunions when she could see her siblings, nieces and nephews and their growing families.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen L. Bunker of Warwick, Colleen Boccanfuso and her husband Richard of Johnston, Donna Carney DiTomasso and her husband William of West Warwick, Arleen Carpenter and her husband Daniel of Coventry, Kevin Bunker and his wife Lorie of Homasossa, FL; a brother, William Fallon of Coventry; a sister, Joan Gauthier of West Warwick; many grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late Dennis Bunker and sister of the late Walter Fallon.

Funeral Services and Burial will be private for the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association Rhode Island Chapter, 245 Waterman St. #306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
