LORRAINE J. POOLE

POOLE (ANCTIL), LORRAINE J., 72, of Milton Lane, Coventry, passed away at home on Friday, May 14, 2021. She was the beloved wife of over 52 years to the late Douglas W. Poole. 

Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Louis A. and Germaine A. (Champagne) Anctil.

Lorraine worked as a CNA at various nursing homes throughout Rhode Island. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, and time spent tending to her garden. She was an avid fan of the Boston Redsox, but above all, she loved time spent with her family. 

She was the loving mother of Tammie L. Anderson and her husband Glenn of Coventry, and Jeannine A. Poole of Florida. Lorraine was the grandmother of David Anderson (Vanessa), Zachary Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Justin Hopkins, Brandan Hopkins, and the late Samantha Anderson. She is also survived by her brother Rene Anctil and his wife Marie. 

Inurnment at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Arrangements by Iannotti Funeral Home.
