LOUISE E. KING

WEST WARWICK- Louise E. King, 97, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Westview Nursing and Rehab Center in West Warwick. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert A. King who passed away in 1995. 

Born on January 25, 1925, in Lynn, MA, she was one of four children born to the late Edward and Louise (Thibeau) Peach. 

For many years, Louise held the important job of being a Homemaker for her husband and four daughters. She took great pride in providing a comforting and safe home, not only to her family, but all who walked through the doors of her house. 

In her spare time, Louise was an avid player of Bingo at various churches in the West Warwick area. She was quite the bargain hunter and would ensure that she always got the good end of the deal. She loved to cook, particularly her favorite dish, rappie pie. Above all, she was most happy when she was in the presence of and making memories with her dear family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Louise is survived by her cherished children: Roberta Yourtee, Stella Nine, Joanne Conti, and Linda Ricci and her husband Peter; her 5 grandchildren: Bryan King, Robert Renta, Charleen Beyea, Jonathan Verkler, and James Nine; her 4 great-grandchildren: Nicole Briendel, Ryan Renta, Sage Verkler, and Jack Nine; her sister: Joan Wegner and also, numerous extended family members.

In addition to her late husband and parents, Louise is predeceased by her siblings: Frances Hubbard and Richard Peach. 

A Visitation will Friday, May 27, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Service at 1:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington, St. (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment will follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
