PARSONS, PAUL C., 74, of Florida, passed away peacefully at the Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine, Florida and went to be with Jesus with his dear brother, David, by his side on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Born in West Warwick, Paul was a son of the late Joseph L. and Lucille J. (Archambault) Parsons.
For All that knew Paul, his Love for life, passion for knowledge, honoring and serving this great Country was a staple with Paul. Pull up a chair for a bit because the conversations with my brother were endless, educational, thought provoking, inspirational and funny. Paul was also very giving and would do anything for you. He served his country with dignity as a Lieutenant and Naval Aviator flying jets and helicopters. Paul was a true believer in God and Jesus Christ as his Savior, and could quote the Bible during conversation as reference if needed. Paul will be truly missed but we know he is with Jesus now, out of pain and with his Mom and Dad. May he rest peacefully and let us celebrate his life as he would want.
Paul is survived by his two sons, Nicholas Parsons and Cameron Parsons; loving brother of David Parsons of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Diane (Parsons) Lamb, her husband John Lamb, and Leonard Parsons, and his wife Susan Parsons of Johnston.
Family and friends are invited to attend Paul’s Committal Prayers and Military Funeral Honors on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, Rhode Island. Those planning to attend are invited to gather at the cemetery’s main entrance at 12:45 PM. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
