LUCIANA ANGELA (DONA) CARD

CARD, LUCIANA ANGELA (DONA) 86, of Foster,  passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, peacefully at home. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 15, 1939  in San Pietro in Gu, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Angelo and Graziola (Vencato) Dona.

She migrated from Italy in 1960. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden and tending to her beautiful flowers. She also loved cooking family dinners from scratch. She was the heart of the family, creating family traditions that have been cherished by all. They will live on with her loving family.

She enjoyed and cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participating in sporting events and other activities. She was an avid New England Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the games on Sunday with her family. She once postponed surgery to watch the Patriots play in the Super Bowl. She welcomed everyone into her home and they became part of her extended family. Her home was the neighborhood home, where many children congregated. She would never hesitate to help anyone in need, which is a testament to how big her heart was.

She leaves behind her children: Steven Card and his wife Jean, Patricia Card-Mott and her husband Bob, Cathy Reid and her husband Kevin, and Brian Card and his wife Beth. Luciana was the foster mother of Viola Petrangelo. She was the former wife of the late Lloyd H. Card Jr. She is also survived by her Grandchildren: Angela, Jessica, Melissa, Christopher, Jeremy, Abby and Mathew. She is survived by great grandchildren: Payton Marie, Angelo Thomas, Estella Rose, Michelle Ann, Madison Ellie, Olivia Luciana. She is also survived by her siblings: Giovanni Dona, Ernesto Dona, Rosalia Marangoni, Cesare Dona, Rinaldo Dona and Danilo Dona. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

She will be missed by anyone whose life she touched.

Her funeral will be on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 8:30 am from the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry, followed by a Requiem Eucharist Service at 10 am in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 3257 Post Rd., Warwick. Interment at Pawtuxet Memorial Park.
