LUCID RENDON-OSPINA Obituary

LUCID YACID RENDON-OSPINA, 50, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Born in Medellín, Colombia, Lucid was the beloved daughter of Marta Ospina-Rendon and Ricardo Rendon, and was lovingly raised by Hugo Acevedo.

Lucid dedicated many years of her life caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout Rhode Island. She had a caring heart, a gentle soul, and always put the needs of others before her own.

Above all, Lucid loved her family deeply. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend whose strength, warmth, and unconditional love touched everyone around her. Her beautiful spirit, kind heart, and loving smile brought comfort, joy, and peace to those lucky enough to know her. She was the type of person who made everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and loved, no matter the circumstance.
