LUCIEN "Pop The Hot Dog Man" RAJOTTE

RAJOTTE, LUCIEN F. “Pop The Hot Dog Man”, 87, passed on Monday, December 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family, Linda Legacy, son-in-law Edward, with whom he lived; Grandson, Eric Legacy, and wife Olivia; granddaughter Jennifer Legacy, and his great granddaughters, the apples of his eyes and partners in crime, Lily and Kaelin Legacy. Predeceased by his son, Richard L. “Ricky” Rajotte. He was the son of the late Lucien E. and Germaine (Leroux) Rajotte. 

“Pop” as he was called was the owner of “Pop’s Red Hot Hotdogs” in East Greenwich and former owner of the Maritime Restaurant. Pop worked for the Warwick Club and Pepsi Cola until his retirement. 

He leaves brothers Paul and George “Donald” Rajotte and his companion Patricia Coit. Predeceased, his siblings Laurette Williams, Rita Parent, Ida Martin, Doris Dabrosca, Leo and Raoul “Pete” Rajotte.

Family and friends are invited to Lucien’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Saint Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown, RI, 02852, followed by inurnment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Warwick. The family will be receiving guests one half hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Lucien’s memory to the VNA of Care New England (www.vnacarenewengland.org) would be appreciated.
