MADELINE L. (FUSCO) DOWD

DOWD, MADELINE L., (FUSCO) 85, of Kinne Street, West Warwick, passed away at the West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center while surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Thomas O. Dowd in 2012. She was a daughter of the late Ralph and Lucrezia (Maglioli) Fusco.

Madeline, a lifelong resident of West Warwick, graduated from West Warwick High School in 1957. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. When not caring, cooking, and providing for her family, Madeline loved to garden, play cards, and enjoy the nearby Casinos.

She was the mother of Thomas O. Dowd Jr. and his wife Tonya of Killingly, Ct. and Karen LaMountain and her husband David of West Warwick. Madeline was the grandmother of Braya Dowd, Sarah Morrison, David T. LaMountain, Riley Dowd and the late Michael Medeiros. She was the great-grandmother of Madison, and James. She was the sister of George, Edward, Paul Fusco, Mary Leveillee, Frances Horne, Nancy Hicks, and the late Joseph, Ralph, Raymond, and Michael Fusco.

A Committal Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Relatives and friends may assemble at the main entrance administration buildings at 10:30 am. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry. iannottifh.com
