MARGARET P. SCHIAPPA

SCHIAPPA, MARGARET P., 95, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 10, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Ennio “Frank” Schiappa. 

Born in Charlestown, RI, Margaret was a daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Moon) McGraw. 

Margaret worked for over 40 years as a Nurses Aid at various nursing homes throughout the state of Rhode Island. Before its closure, Margaret also worked preparing meals at the Naval Air Station in Quonset Point. She enjoyed playing bingo, tending her gardens, scouring yard sales, and the gospel music of Jimmy Swaggart.  

Margaret was the mother of Patricia Broadwater, and the late Gloria Quisenberry; She was the loving grandmother of four. She was predeceased by her sister Mrs. Lillian Gibbs. 

Due to the current restrictions, funeral services at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Arrangements by Iannotti Funeral Home.
