MARGUERITA L. (SERPA) MANN

MANN, MARGUERITA L. (SERPA) 94, of Hope Village, Scituate, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry. She was predeceased by her husband Chester R. Mann in 1976. Born and raised in Scituate, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (Arruda) Serpa.

Marguerita was a graduate of West Warwick High School. She managed the lunch counter at J.J. Newberry’s in the Arctic business district for many years before retiring. Marguerita was a dedicated parishioner of Saint Anthony Church. She loved to travel by bus to Atlantic City as well as Canada where she enjoyed playing Bingo. Another favorite pastime of hers was square dancing. 

She was the mother of Priscilla J. Klein and her husband Gary of Severn, Maryland. She is also survived by her granddaughter Brittany Holbert. Marguerita was the sister of the late Joseph Serpa.

Visiting hours are Saturday morning, December 28, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington, St. (Rte.117) in Coventry, followed by interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. iannottifh.com
