MARIA SANTO CRISTO (CASIMIRO) RAULINO

RAULINO, MARIA SANTO CRISTO (CASIMIRO) 66, passed away at RI Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 18 years Joseph Manuel Raulino in 1999. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Virginio and Maria Conceicao (Melo) Casimiro.

Maria and her family emigrated from the Azores to West Warwick when she was twelve years of age. Maria relished in caring and providing for her family, her strong Catholic faith and dedication to Saint Anthony’s Church. Maria was the matriarch and guiding light of the family. She enjoyed family vacations, teaching her two grandsons cooking, crafting, and gardening. She brought joy to everyone she met and always offered uplifting and unwavering support. Most of all, Maria enjoyed and cherished being with her family everyday.  

She leaves her best friend and daughter Priscilla A. Lucianno and her husband Kenneth J. Lucianno Jr. of West Warwick; and grandsons Kenneth J. Lucianno III and Jose Lucianno. Maria was the sister of Maria Jesus Medeiros and her husband John of West Greenwich, and the late Dinis Casimiro, Virginio Casimiro and Auxiliadora Casimiro. Maria was also the sister in law of Margaret Casimiro, Eddie and Roberta Ricci, Maria J. Resendes and the late Robert Resendes, Anthony and Rose DaEstrela, Natalie Raulino, Anthony and Doreen Raulino. She was the aunt of Dinis and Henry Casimiro, Kristy Barbosa, Brian Medeiros and his wife Kara, Natarsia Medeiros, Erica Hayes and her husband Scott, Brittany and Sydney Resendes, Joseph Raulino, Raphael Diaz, Americo Marzano, Liliana Hayes, Luke and Elle Medeiros, Daphne and Sophie Barbosa.

Visiting hours are on Thursday morning, November 7, 2024 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, this holy place where Maria and Joseph were married on this date in 1981. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery in West Warwick will be private. iannottifh.com
