MARIE ROSE (PEICZAREK) GARCIA

GARCIA, MARIE ROSE (PEICZAREK) 67, of Flat River Rd.,Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was the wife of Phillip N. Garcia for 35 years. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Mary (Terilli) Peiczarek. 

Marie, from an early age was considered to be a very happy and positive person. This upbeat attitude proved to be helpful, especially in her later years, due to some difficult health concerns. She had a caring heart, and loved raising her family. She also enjoyed the natural beauty of her surroundings. Whether it be bird feeding, or rescuing a stray cat, dog, or even a wayward chicken.

She was the mother of Albert A. Ricciardi and his wife Erin of Richmond, Mark V. Ricciardi of West Warwick, and Michael A. Garcia of Coventry. Marie was the grandmother of Mason, Mckenzie and Jake. She was the sister of Walter J. Peiczarek (Louise) of Coventry, Raymond P. Peiczarek of Exeter, and John A. Peiczarek (Rita) of Cranston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10 am in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive in Cranston. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the RISPCA (www.rispca.com) would be appreciated.
