MARILYN J. (MOORE) FAMIGLIETTI

FAMIGLIETTI, MARILYN J., 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry, RI. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Marshall M. Famiglietti. 

Born in Chattanooga, TN, she was a daughter of the late Garris E. and Dorothy E. (Hussey) Moore. 

Before retiring in 1992, Marilyn worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the West Warwick School Department for over twenty years. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, and time spent with her friends. Above all, anytime Marilyn was spending with her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, is what she cherished most.  

Marilyn was the mother of Scott M. Famiglietti, and wife, Dale, of Coventry, RI, Cheryl A. Gouveia and husband, Frank, of Rehoboth, MA, and Nancy E. Bajorek and husband, Joe, of Richmond, RI. Grandmother of seven, great grandmother of fourteen. She was the sister of the late Barbara Vose.  

Marilyn’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the administration and staff of Alpine Nursing Home and Harmony Hospice for their loving care and support. 

A visiting hour will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry. Burial with committal prayers to follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
