MARK D. BOTELLO

With great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Mark D. Botello, on January 5, 2023.

Mark was the son of the late Marjorie A (Crudele) Botello and the late Manuel F Botello, Jr. of Cranston, RI.

Mark was born March 7, 1972, in Providence, RI and was a Cranston resident for many years before moving to Newport, RI and most recently, Miami Beach,FL.

Mark was an accomplished artist, musician and writer. He was the former owner of Island Tattoo in Middletown, RI and Newport Body Piercing in Newport, RI. Mark also authored a book in 2005. "AGAIN" by Mark David.

Mark enjoyed playing his guitars, jam sessions with friends, painting and traveling. More than once, Mark traveled through Europe and North Africa. He was particularly fond of Amsterdam and Morocco. He was free- spirited and enjoyed a bohemian lifestyle.

Mark was predeceased by his brother, Brian M Botello, of Cranston RI. Mark is survived by his loving siblings, Dawne M Botello, and her partner Gary Cummings of Cranston, RI and Stephen M Botello of Cranston RI. Mark is also survived by his Sister-in-law, Darlene M Botello, of West Warwick, RI.

Mark was adored by his many Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and lifelong friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend memorial visiting hours on Thursday, February 16, from 5:00 P.M.-6:30 P.M. at the IANNOTTI Funeral Home at 415 WASHINGTON ST., (RT.117/ORIGINAL LOCATION), COVENTRY, RI. A Funeral Service in remembrance of Mark’s life will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 6:30 P.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
