MARY BURNS Obituary

BURNS, MARY M., 86, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald U. Carr and Ronald Burns.

Born in Norfolk, VA, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Vivian (Pitzakoulas) Mihalas.

Aside from traveling, Mary enjoyed cooking and hosting gatherings for family and friends. She was a devoted foster mother, shaping the lives of many individuals, for many years.

Mary was the loving mother of Linda Nordstrom, Vivian Negley, Barbara May, and the late Donna Drasal. Grandmother of Lynne Carr, Niki Nordstrom, Carli Nordstrom, and Cody May. She was the sister of the late Nicholas and Michael Mihalas.

Services were respectfully private.
