MARY CONCETTA (RIVERS) DESMARAIS

DESMARAIS, MARY C. (RIVERS) 91, of Pontiac Village, Warwick, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Herbert X. Desmarais in 2004. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta (Petrangelo) Rivers.

Mary was employed for over 38 years as a Dome Press Operator at Amtrol Inc. in West Warwick before retiring. Mary loved to bake, and create arts and crafts.

Mary was the caring mother of Gail C. Lee, Deborah A. Conley and her husband Todd, all of  Warwick, and Laurie L. Cote of West Warwick. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tiffany Seale, Christopher Lee, great-grandchildren; Paige, Mason, Christianna, Austin, Josh and three great-great-grandchildren. Mary was the grandmother of the late Kerry L. Fratus.

To honor Mary’s wishes, Funeral Services and interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations to VNA of Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry. iannottifh.com
