MARY ANN (ZAWISLAK) GILLOOLY

MARY ANN (ZAWISLAK) GILLOOLY, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the West View Nursing Home, West Warwick. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph J. Gillooly Sr. 

Born in North Providence, Mary Ann was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Slonina) Zawislak.

Always with a bright mind, Mary worked for nearly two decades as a Librarian for the State of Rhode Island. Mary was a devout Catholic throughout her life. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed playing golf, loved travelling, and was a talented artist. 

She was the mother of Anne Marie Gillooly and the late Joseph J. Gillooly Jr. Grandmother of Joseph J. Gillooly III, Doreann Nasin. Great grandmother of Nor’anna Neida Nasin. Former daughter-in-law of Doris Enid Gillooly-Herrick.

Mary’s burial with Committal Prayers will be Monday, June 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
