MARY H. (Avizinis) LAROCQUE

LAROCQUE, MARY H. (AVIZINIS) 67, of Pepin St., West Warwick, passed away at Kent Hospital, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. She was the wife of Roger G. LaRocque for 42 years. Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Ralph W. and Mary B. (McElroy) Avizinis.

Mary was employed as a Lunch Aide in the West Warwick School System for 18 years. 

Mary enjoyed the “Arts” and was a founding member of the former Pawtuxet Valley Art Association.

She loved to travel and she enriched her life by going to many museums when she was able to.

She was the mother of Melanie Ann Cronin, wife of Josh Cronin of Uncasville, Connecticut, and Kristin Marie Piarulli, wife of Brian Piarulli of Hersey, Pennsylvania. Mary was the grandmother of Katelyn and Grayson Piarulli.  She was the sister of Sharon A. Leclair of Mims, Florida.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening, April 9, 2019 from 4 – 7 PM with a Memorial Service at 5 PM in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org) would be appreciated.
