KELLY, MATTHEW, 60, of Coventry, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.
Born in Warwick, Matt was a son of the late Edward J. and Ruth (Gillen) Kelly.
Always a hard worker, Matt owned and operated M & H Towing and Recovery from 1987 to 2004. He currently worked at O’Reily’s Auto Parts in Coventry, RI. Matt was a lifelong animal lover and advocate. He had a special place in his heart for all of his dogs throughout his lifetime. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots and NASCAR. Matt loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle. He was a former member of the Road Rangers Motorcycle Club and was a strong supporter of the Rhode Island Coalition of Clubs.
Matt is survived by his lifelong friend, Donna White, his faithful canine companion, Foxy, and his many “brothers” and friends.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (NOON) in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry. Burial is respectfully private.
