HODGES, MICHAEL F., 84, formerly of Coventry, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 25, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Mary E. (Shea) Hodges. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late William L. and Alice E. (Rothage) Hodges.
Michael proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. After an honorable discharge, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia State University. Michael was the Proprietor and Vice President of Multi-Source International, a plastics manufacturing company.
He enjoyed golfing, photography, ballroom dancing with his wife, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his seven grandchildren.
He was the father of Kevin M. Hodges, and his wife Andrea Miano of Washington, DC, Steven C. Hodges and his wife Amy Miller of London, England, and Ryan P. Hodges and his wife Joni of Exeter. He was the grandfather of Andrew, Claire, Godwin, Sibella, Prudence, and Gregory Hodges and Emily (Hodges) Walker and her husband Michael. He was the brother of Mary Jane Kimmelshue, Shirley Garst, Beverly Cavanaugh, and the late Elwood, Holden, John Thomas, William (Jr.) Hodges and Joan Vane, and the brother-in-law of Marcy Shea-Frank and Carroll Frank. Michael also leaves many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be Friday morning, October 31, 2025 at 10 am from the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Interment with military honors will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are Thursday evening 4 pm to 7 pm.
