LEVEILLEE, MICHAEL J., 62, of Victory Highway, West Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was the husband of Susan G. (Harrington) Leveillee for thirty-five years. Born in Cranston, he was a son of Dorothy H. (Fusaro) Barber of Coventry and Roger E. Leveillee, and his wife Gloria, of Maine.
Michael graduated from West Warwick High School in 1981. Michael was employed as a boilermaker with Local 29 Avon, Massachusetts for over twenty years before retiring. He traveled throughout the Country working at Nuclear Power Plants. He previously was a correctional officer for twelve years at the State of Rhode Island Department of Corrections in Cranston. Michael was a certified scuba diver and he enjoyed recreational diving, as well as boating. He had a great knowledge in collecting vintage scuba gear, lunch boxes, comic books and other collectables. He loved to search these interests on Ebay. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren.
Michael was the father of Melissa S. Leveillee and Rachel A. Leveillee and her fiancee Michael A. Graemiger, all of West Greenwich. He was the grandfather of Logan, Caleb, Gianna and Jace. He was the brother of Thomas Leveillee of Lakeland, Florida, Paula Myers of Maine, and Nicole Leveillee.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday evening, November 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with a Memorial Service at 6:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
