MICHAEL A. PELTIER

PELTIER, MICHAEL A., 54, passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital on Friday, March 27, 2026 after lifelong complications resulting from an automobile accident in 1994. 

Born in Warwick, Michael was a beloved son of Jean M. (St. Peter) Peltier and the late Gary N. Peltier.    

Michael attended Toll Gate High School where he was an accomplished woodworker. Born with a natural engineering mind, after Vocational School, Michael pursued a degree in Robotic Engineering. At an early age, Michael was drawn to Science Fiction. He especially enjoyed Star Trek and was a lifelong “Trekkie”. Throughout Michael’s life, Michael enjoyed trips to Rhode Island’s beaches and area parks. He always had a deep love of nature and found solace being outdoors. 

Michael was the father of Michael A. Peltier Jr., and his wife Jocelyn, of Pensacola, FL; Grandfather of 2. He was the loving brother of James S. Peltier, and his wife Alyssa, of Concord, MA, and Kevin J. Peltier of Warwick, RI. He was the uncle of 8 dear nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and great nephews. 

A Visiting Hour will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry, RI. Burial to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.
