MICHELLE MARIE (MEUNIER) SOUSA

SOUSA, MICHELLE M. (MEUNIER) 58, of Garnet St., West Warwick, passed away  surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. She was the beloved wife of Paul Sousa. The couple have been together for 40 years. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of Jeanne E. (Auger) Meunier of West Warwick and the late Reynald L. Meunier. 

Michelle graduated from West Warwick High School, class of 1985. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and daughter. Michelle was a happy and joyful person and it was always pleasant to be in her company. Michelle was employed as a secretary for the Izzo Electric & Son Company in Warwick for the last seven years. Michelle enjoyed family gatherings, going out for dinner with her husband Paul, and the companionship of her dog Sadie and late cat Q-Ball.

Michelle was the mother of Samantha L. “Sam” Sousa, and the sister of Christine A. Meunier and her husband Peter Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Jared Wilson.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning, April 14, 2026 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, with a Memorial Service at 11:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry, RI. iannottifh.com
