HART, NANCY, 65, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Annette (Aubin) Porter.
Nancy worked for many years at Fatima Hospital, starting in the kitchen and then working in the pharmacy. She loved to help anyone who needed it. After working for Fatima, Nancy enjoyed taking long drives, listening to music, and watching her favorite shows such as Little House on the Prairie, Days of Our Lives, and ER. She always loved to make people smile, buying quirky gifts and doing whatever she thought would make people laugh.
Nancy trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 2013 and she loved going to church when she could and watching the livestream when she could not physically be in service. She loved going to the church potlucks, meeting new people and telling funny stories that would light up the table.
We would like to thank Fatima Hospital, Stillwater Nursing facility, Nursing Placement and their CNAs, and everyone who has helped her navigate life the last few years.
Nancy was the loving mother of Christopher and his wife Jennifer Hart, Jessyca Bryant, and Brian Beliveau. She was the grandmother of Makenna, Kalliyan, Eoin, and Saoirse. She was the sister of Karen Hayden and her husband Robert Hayden; William Porter; Sandra LaChapelle; Paula Porter; Earl Porter, Jr.; and Darlene Borino and her late husband Richard Borino. Nancy is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Family and friends are invited to gather for A Celebration of Nancy’s Life beginning at 6 PM. Visiting Hours on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4 - 6 PM at Christian Hill Community Church, 56 Tiogue Ave., Coventry, RI.
